Did you guys enjoy a walk through the floral past of French Bull?

Next up on our list, released during 2007, was Carnival soon to be replace by Tapestry by 2008. Tapestry was a very popular print for French Bull that was finally discontinued in 2012. You can still see Tapestry as part of our storage container collection.

Another French Bull favorite, Isis, was released the following season with Splendida and Collage following shortly after. Isis, along with Multiplaid, were the only collections to be released as plate (set of 4 assorted colors)  and picnic bag sets.

Raj debuted a few years later and has been one of our most successful patterns to date. Raj has been featured on almost all of our products from platters to mini bowls and spreaders to slippers.

Lastly, our most recent floral was released for this Spring and Summer, Dahlia. Named after the Mexican flower, this bright and colorful collection is perfect for any gathering this season.

The first floral pattern ever designed by French Bull was Kaleidoscope. It debuted in the first half of 2004 along side Fantasia, another fabulous floral that lasted us four seasons. Kaleidoscope was replaced the following season, but was recently relaunched and revamped, and it will soon be seen as a cake stand in Off Saks Fifth Avenue stores. Fantasia was eventually released as a salad server and can still be purchased today on frenchbull.com!

Next, two very different floral hues that can still be seen in various French Bull Collections. Delight is adored by French Bull Korea, while Shadow Flower, most recently in floor mat design, can be bought today on Fab.com! Both patterns have had a very long run with many of our licensees, including stationary, wrapping paper, and neoprene Built cases.

Fall of 2005 saw the debut of three blossoming designs . Grace, one of our very first salad server prints, was short lived and was only around for two seasons; however, Mosaic and Barcelona became collection mainstays with Mosaic still being a top seller this day. Barcelona was also used by a French Bull fan to wrap a smart car. This is one of our favorite uses of Barcelona to date!

2006 saw the release of simpler designs that incorporated more black and white than typically seen by French Bull. Vine has continued to sell and is now one of our best selling neoprene slippers!

French Bull is rapidly growing in South Korea. They are currently expanding to many of the Lotte Department stores with the most recent in Daejeon. Instead of using melamine, French Bull Korea offers French Bull designs on white porcelain along with other fabulous items. Check out the great photos of the new location below!

Asia: The Asian theme spotted from such designers as Prada and Hermes was a favorite of ours. Kiminko tops, dresses, and Asian prints were paraded down many runways. One of our top sellers from the spring houseware shows, Kat, is inspired by the ancient Indonesian dying technique, Ikat.

Contrast: Another fabulous trend is the contrast of black and white as displayed by fashion great Marc Jacobs down the New York runways at Lincoln Center.

Botanicals: Also, of more relevance to French Bull, the Lifestyle Home Show in London saw a huge botanical trend. We always love a great floral pattern!

We also just received samples for our Fall 2013 line! We are super excited for everyone to see what we’ve been designing over the past few months!

Our first and floral pattern is Dahlia, inspired by the Mexican national flower named after the 19th Century Swedish botanist Andreas (Anders) Dahl.

The second is Kat, inspired by the ancient dyeing technique Ikat.

With their vibrant colors and historical roots, both patterns are sure to become mainstays in the French Bull anthology!

We are also introducing many great new products this season to accompany our plate and platter collections. A trio of vivaciously vivid service trays and bowls in our two new patterns, along with Ziggy and Mosaic.

Ziggy, one of our best selling patterns, has finally become a salad server!

Last, but certainly not least, are our lusciously lucent tumblers and flatware snap sets! Both are available in a trio of lucent colors: turquoise, lime, and pink. The snap set is a luminously translucent spoon, fork, and knife that snap together – perfect for all your to-go needs!

To recap the end of 2012, we had our French Bull holiday party at an eclectic restaurant in New York City’s Chinatown called Congee Bowery. After a delectable dinner of various family style appetizers and entrees, we played a French Bull version of Yankee Swap. Each employee had to make a gift that included their favorite French Bull pattern. Here are two of our favorites of the night:
