Sunbelievable
Wednesday, February 23rd, 2011Are kids still interested in outer space? Our interest in space travel and the solar system always felt like such a part of Americana to me. From parents retelling kids about Orson Welles’ radio broadcast of War of the Worlds and Buck Rogers to Star Wars and watching shuttle launches in school and the disaster of a movie Space Camp, it’s all been a part of our culture. I feel like space has kind of taken a backseat to vampries, Harry Potter and Shrek. Nothing wrong with any of those but space is still pretty amazing and Nasa is kind of underrated. Check out the above video if you don’t believe me.
So that bright gaseous orb that gives us great beach days and blinds us when we’re skiing is the focus of one of our new collections: Sunshine Wheel. The full collection is in stock now along with a myriad of new items for any sun worshipper or former space cadet.
