The Missoni brand story – A love affair of it’s founders Ottavio and Rosita that turned into a family and fashion empire, is on exhibit  at the Estorick Collection in London.

Curated by son Luca Missoni, the exhibition gives a well-rounded view of the family’s passion for color, form, fabric and the artistry of design. The story is told through film, archived garments, inspirational art, Tapestries, a replica of the Missoni workshop, inspirational art by Modigliani, Tancredi, Severini and Futurist clothes by Giacomo Balla. As ardent admirers and collectors of Balla, the Missonis pioneered the use of unabashed, joyful colour, asymmetry and innovative cutting with a legacy that is the complete transformation of how knitwear is perceived in contemporary design.

French Bull Astrology Mugs - Coming Fall 2009

With a look to the stars for added insight in a sometimes chaotic world, French Bull has created a 12 pc. collection of porcelain mugs representing every sign in the zodiac. In celebration of these cosmic cups, available September 1st, Jackie will be reading your French Bull Horoscopes on Youtube each Monday from now until August 31st.
